Real estate porn?

Recently, I was reading a book based in LA and they were describing an area which intrigued me “the bird streets”. I was curious so I surfed onto the MLS website for LA found a few Zip codes for the area and viola, I was in.

Now 90210 is posh but if you go to http://guests.themls.com/?tab=search and search by these zip codes you’re sure to be inspired! 90069, 90068, 90077, 90027, 90046, 90049. Now search by the highest price they are the most impressive – with photos and virtual tours too.

While continuing my search I came across The Real Estalker (http://realestalker.blogspot.com/) aka Your Mama, as the mystery writer affectionately calls herself. The Real Estalker is a popular blog that gives you a vouyeristic look into the personal real estate transactions of celebrities. Consider it an extension of tabloid culture combined with a continued love of real estate despite the bubble burst. I love her sassiness. This California real estate gossip/voyeur entertains her blog readers with her soul food eatin' southern belle attitude. She keeps us coming back for more with her colorful verbiage. She uses words like "dee-luxe and delishusly dee-vine" and uses terms like "ak-tur" and "ak-tress" when talking about celebrities. She "lurvs" some homes and crticizes others. The posts are fresh, detailed, gossipy and the pics are outstanding. But no one seemed to know who she was.

The first pic is the home of Britney Spears, the second Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s New Orleans home, oh and the third some miscellaneous Spelling properties widow Candy is selling off at a mere $7.9 million – insane!

“Your Mama” revealed herself back in August of 2007 on VH1's "The Fabulous Life Presents". I goggled her and know her identity, but I think the allure of Your Mama, is what makes the blog even better.
