Ok, I am not entirely sure how this works, but...this Magic Snowflake/Christmas Tree kit (from Urban Outfitters) looks like super fun and comes with a paper frame and some incredible (and totally non-toxic) liquid that when combined together forms magical crystals from some kind of other holiday dimension. 
Seriously - I gotta get one just to see if it works!
